Graduated in Physics, at the University of Parma, Italy, at July 18,1958.

at the Universities of Parma, Torino and Ferrara for the period 1959-1976.
Full Professor of
Physics since 2-1-1976, initially at the University of Ferrara, then, since
11-1-1978, at the University of Parma.
She has cooperated,
in 1959 and 1960, to the establishments of the Nuclear Emulsion Groups
for the study of elementary particles and fall out.
In 1962 she has worked
at CERN in Geneve, as Visiting Professor, in the group of professor Conversi,
at the experiments on the mesons ? radiative capture.
Since 1963, she has
founded in Parma the first Italian Laboratory of Mössbauer Spectroscopy.
In 1969, she has worked
at the Magnetism and Semiconductor laboratory of CNRS at Bellevue-Paris
(France), studying magnetic semiconductors.
She cooperated with
MASPEC-CNR Institute of Parma since its foundation.
She has been Responsible
of the "Magnetic Resonance Group" of CNR-GNSM. for the perid 1982-1995.
She has been elected
in the Council of the Italian Physical Society (S.I.F.) for the triennial
periods 1983-85, 1986-88, 1989-91, 1992-94.
She has been
a Member of the Council of the European Physical Society (E.P.S.), for
the periods 1985-89, 1991-94.
Since January 1986,
she is Director of Physical Sciences Institute of the Medicine
Faculty of the University of Parma.
She is person in charge
of the Health Physics Service of the University of Parma since 1985.
She is Director of
the "Scuola Diretta a Fini Speciali" in Health Physics since its foundation
(1988).
In 1990 she has been
the First Coordinator of the National Projet on Biomedical
Physics - MURST-40%.
She was member
of the Medical Physics Commission of CNR (dec. CNR n. 11360)
in the period 1990-1994.
Since 1991 she is
a member of the Presidence Council of the ICSC-World Laboratory.
She has been a Panel
Member of the ASI/ARW Panel of NATO for the period 1993-95.
