Research Activities

The main research lines regard the following topics: Geometry on complex analytic spaces, complex solvmanifolds, hermitian non-kählerian geometry, complex analysis on manifolds, positive currents. She wrote several papers on these subjects.

At present, she is working on non-Kähler geometry and on positive plurisubharmonic currents on complex manifolds.

She has been invited speaker at several Departments of Mathematics and at the following conferences:

International Conference on Algebraic Geometry, Humboldt Universität, Berlin (Deutschland)

Internationaler Workshop Komplexe Analysis, Wuppertal (Deutschland)

Convegno Internazionale CIRM “Complex Analysis and Geometry, X”, Trento (Italia)

International Meeting “Teichmüller-Teorie und Modulräume Riemannscher Flächen”, Mathematisches Forschunginstitut Oberwolfach (Deutschland)

International Workshop “Recent Advances and Perspectives in Complex Geometry”, Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa (Italia)

Seminar of Complex Analysis, Université de Paris VII (France)

Seminar Norguet-Ofman, Université de Paris VI (France)

8. Österreichisches Mathematikertreffen, Bolzano (Italia).

Teaching Activities

She taught (and teaches up to now) several courses in the area “Geometry”; as regards the courses at the Faculty of Engineering, she wrote the books "Geometria e Algebra Lineare", “Geometria A” and “Geometria B”, ed. Uninova (Parma). She was also a teacher of the Ph.D. School (Dottorato di ricerca) in Milano.

As regards Mathematics Education, from 1993 to 2002 she contributed to the management of the “Laboratorio di Ricerca sui Materiali e i Metodi per la Didattica e la Divulgazione della Matematica” of the University of Trento; she gave many conferences and several courses on these topics, addressed to the Primary School teachers, and she wrote a few paper in this field. Moreover, she contributed to the SSIS of Trento and Parma, to the “Corso di Laurea in Scienze della Formazione” (Milano) and to PAS and TFA (Parma).
